Father's Day is an An American holiday that
pays recognition to all fathers.
The first Father's Day was celebrated in
Spokane Washington in 1910.
The holiday was started by a lady named Sonora Smart Dodd
who wanted to honor her father William Smart
who was a civil war veteran.
But,Fathers day did not become an official holiday until 1972.
Father's day is celebrated on the third Sunday in June.

Of course,we should honor and respect our father (dad)
and our mother everyday.

"Honor your father and your mother, so that you
may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you."
Exodus 20:12 (KJV)
